Lynne S. Williams serves as Director of Client Services for
Lebow & Malecki Consulting, Inc. Her role includes marketing, business
development, and communications for the firm with particular emphasis on client
services. Ms. Williams’ career has spanned over 25 years in healthcare and
hospital administration. She has extensive management and senior executive
experience including responsibility for marketing, business development,
communications, media relations, community and public relations, physician
development and government relations for a multi-state healthcare
system.
Ms. Williams’ career in healthcare began in Nashville,
Tennessee, where she was involved in health planning and was later appointed the
first Certificate of Need Administrator for the State of Tennessee’s Health
Facilities Commission housed in the Executive Branch of State Government.
Later she served in several administrative positions for The University of
Tennessee Medical Center, including Associate Executive Director of the
University of Tennessee Hospital, Director of the William F. Bowld Hospital and
Assistant Director of the UT Medical Center. Prior to relocating to
Chicago, Ms. Williams was First Vice President of the Baptist Healthcare System
in Memphis, Tennessee, which included the 1485-bed Baptist Memorial Medical
Center Hospital, a 417 bed suburban hospital in east Memphis, a regional
rehabilitation center and 13 other affiliate institutions located in four
states.
Ms. Williams has been a fellow in the American College of
Healthcare Executives, serving as Regent-at-Large representing the Southeastern
United States. During her career, she has held numerous positions of
responsibility with healthcare organizations, regulatory agencies and
professional societies. She was elected to the Board of Directors of the
Tennessee Hospital Association , appointed to the Tennessee State Licensing
Board for Healthcare Facilities; President of the Memphis Hospital Council;
President of the Memphis Young Administrators’ Forum and Chairman of the Memphis
Medical Center Marketing Council. She was selected to Leadership Memphis,
and later served on its Board of Directors. She has produced award winning
advertising and communications, and while at Baptist Healthcare System, she and
her staff received the top Addy Award, “Best of Show,” from the Memphis
Advertising Federation for excellence in television and print media.
Ms. Williams received her bachelor’s degree from The
University of Alabama and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from The
University of Tennessee.
